During the week, my group member did a prototype based on our design. We used blue compressed foam blocks to make a A5 size model.The multipurpose furniture consist of mainly 2 major components which are the platforms and the supports that are supposedly identical to each other so that our idea of assemble and reassemble rule applies when the furniture requires conversion.
In the sketches we have shown the screw-like and bolt-like joints that are detachable, but for the purpose of this illustration we used satay sticks to replicate the joint method, which are also detachable.
After the slots and satay sticks are being assigned accordingly, the parts are being join together to form different furniture. for this transition of furniture we have a mini stool, to a medium stool and then to a standard chair.
